"Sued by Coworker"
I woke one morning this last weekend to find a receipt with the words "Sued by Coworker" written on them. These words, apparently, were meant to anchor in my mind the memory of the dream I had the night before. These words, however, had almost nothing to do with the dream. Actually, they more served to confuse me more. Anyhow, moving on.
So, I was in court. I was being sued. I think the reason why I said I was being sued by my coworker is that the prosecuting lawyer happened to be a past coworker. However, I was really being sued by McDonalds. And really, I'm pretty sure I wasn't being sued, but rather tried (I think there's a difference), considering my crime was theft. Yes, thievery, the unjust pilfering of an ice cream cone.
And this, dear readers, is where dreams and reality collide!...because earlier that week I had completed my 3rd time successfully navigating a drive-through (while driving). And, in my worthless attempt at declaring our order, failed to mention the passenger's ice cream cone. Which they just gave us. And we drove off before they realized they didn't charge us for it.
Apparently, I felt guilty about it. And that's it.
